Primitive Portrait
This print is reproduced from a 17th c. folk art painting of a child holding a bird. It has been applied to an aged and distressed 8x10 stretched canvas. Can be displayed hanging or as a cupboard tuck. Henry Gibbs Boston 1670.
Primitive Doll
I've taken a pre-made 8'' muslin doll body and aged it with antiquing glaze, then added a dress and apron made from antique textiles. The dress is indigo calico from an 1800's quilt and the apron is from a linen towel. The fabrics will show signs of wear from age. She is holding a little woven basket in her arms.
